Duygu Pamukcu

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Logistics and Operations Management at HEC Montreal. My primary focus lies in comprehending and advancing the operations of organizations in humanitarian and crisis settings. My research is driven by the vision of creating more effective, efficient, and equitable outcomes in challenging situations. To this end, I employ a combination of optimization techniques, including both exact and heuristic approaches, along with data-driven methods such as econometric analysis and statistics, to address complex problems in operations management.

In my most recent work, I focus on addressing the challenges in food bank operations and development of allocation strategies that optimize the distribution of diverse donations under various operational challenges ensuring that donations reaches those in need efficiently and equitably.

Thank you for visiting. If you would like to connect or collaborate, please feel free to reach out to me. I look forward to engaging with individuals and organizations in our collective efforts to create a better world.

Let’s build a more resilient future together!
